It was used for autopsy, mortuary and body storage. The original building has been in service for more than 20 years. It has served over 5 million people in the area, covering 5 provinces. There are only 2 forensic doctors and 1 bed for autopsy. Each day, an average of 5-10 patients receive forensic services.
The tapestry project to contribute to the construction fund was held on July 28, 2024, which is the birthday of His Majesty the King and the construction is scheduled to begin on June 3, 2025, which coincides with the birthday of Her Majesty the Queen. The estimated construction budget is 23,808,000 baht, currently funded at 20 million baht, expected to be completed in the new year 2026.
