ต้นเทียนอุบลจะเดินทางไปจังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี ในช่วงต้นเดือนตุลาคม 2568 เพื่อเข้าร่วมงานประเพณีออกพรรษา ชักพระ ทอดผ้าป่า ที่จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวเชื่อมโยงระหว่างภูมิภาค "เข้าพรรษา เที่ยวงานแห่เทียน จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี ออกพรรษาเที่ยวงานชักพระ จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี" ซึ่งจะ มีการจัดงานระหว่างวันที่ 4-12 ตุลาคม 2568 โดยต้นเทียนพรรษาจากวัดศรีแสงทองจะเป็นตัวแทนของจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี และการแสดงฟ้อนรำจากโรงเรียนพิบูลมังสาหาร อ.พิบูลมังสาหาร ได้รับสนับสนุนจากองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี
