On 29 September 2025, Mr. Kan Kalptinan, President of Ubon Ratchathani Province, together with the executives, heads of government departments and officials of Ubon Ratchathani Province, participated in the Thai National Flag Day 2025 ceremony in front of the Ubon Ratchathani Province Office.
This ceremony was held to commemorate the blessing of His Majesty King Maha Chakri Sirindhorn who presented the Tricolor flag as a Thai flag, as well as to build national pride and awareness of the importance of the Thai flag as a symbol of independence, unity and sacrifice of Thai ancestors.
