At the new building, the College of Medicine and Public Health scheduled a merit-making activity for 29 monks, listening to sermons, ceremonies, honors and souvenirs for the principal's relatives.
As for the ceremony to pay respect to the principal and make a request, as well as allowing relatives to pay homage to the principal at the Anatomy Exhibition Room, 1st floor of the Faculty of Applied Arts Building.
There will also be activity halls and educational body donations for medical science students.
Associate Professor Dr. Puan Sutthipinittham, Dean of the College of Medicine and Public Health, stated that the merit-making ceremony for deceased professors, which the College of Medicine and Public Health organizes annually, is to dedicate merit and commemorate the contributions of the professors who sacrificed their bodies for the education of medical science students. It also expresses gratitude to benefactors according to Thai tradition.
At the event, there will be a merit making ceremony, offering food to monks, asking for and vowing to treat the principal well and appropriately. This event will be a reminder to the students to remember and practice the merits of the principal and to use the knowledge from the learning in the principal's body to accompany the merits of treating patients in the future. It is also a good opportunity for students to know their relatives. The principal has a good interaction with each other, remembers the merits of each other, helps each other in the future as well.
